Brief introduction & Application:

SiC materials have excellent high-temperature mechanical properties, fire resistance, thermal shock resistance, high thermal conductivity, and low expansion. 

As kiln furniture materials, Silicon Carbide Shed Board for Kilns can significantly reduce energy consumption and improve the production capacity of kilns. Therefore, they are widely used in thermal operations of kilns.

By utilizing the high strength and high thermal conductivity of silicon carbide shed panels, they can be made very thin, significantly reducing the loading ratio of kiln furniture and porcelain parts to be fired. In a ceramic kiln firing at 1450 degrees Celsius, compared to traditional sagger kilns, silicon carbide shed plates have the advantages of low energy consumption, non deformation, non fracture, good thermal shock resistance, and long service life during use.

Product Feature:

Characteristics of silicon carbide shed board:

1. Good resistance to rapid cooling and heating, and less prone to cracking during use.

2. The shed board has high density, smooth surface, and does not shed slag during use.

3. The temperature range of firing is wide: it can be used in the range of 800-1400 ° C.

4. Extremely high thermal conductivity, excellent high-temperature corrosion resistance, and excellent wear resistance.

5. High temperature compressive and flexural strength: Silicon carbide shed boards can be used on one side for a long time and are not easily deformed.

6. Excellent antioxidant performance: able to adapt to the oxidation and reduction atmosphere of ceramic firing. Under normal operation and normal firing conditions, the number of cycles used should be between 500 and 1000.

7. High product strength: With the same specifications and ensuring long-term use without deformation, the thickness of the shed board is thin, which can maximize the utilization efficiency of the kiln and save energy.
